Not far away is the Caia dam, an ideal place for fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, simply having a snack or an aperitif while watching the sunset.
Furthermore, it is worth mentioning the proximity to the Alqueva dam (about 100km away), the largest artificial lake in Europe, which has multiple supervised river beaches, of excellence,
with all the conditions and support to spend a beautiful day at the beach.

Quinta do Malvar contains a special romantic beauty fueled by secret perfumes. A very peculiar garden designed by a Japanese man was born here with 2 small lakes, a bridge, several rose bushes, camellias, freesias, feathers, aloe-vera, bushes and a simple waterfall crowned by an ancient sculpture of the goddess Venus.
Levadas run throughout the farm, bringing water to the fields and the water reserve tank, where there is a very special fountain – the so-called swallow fountain.
