 1- In medium-density areas, the standard type of building occupation, when it is not a consolidated urban front or a settlement situation, obeys the following rules: 

a) Isolated buildings or a group of buildings adjoining each other with a residential component, in which case the depth between the main and rear façades furthest apart may not exceed 15 metres. 

b) Isolated buildings with no residential component, the depth between the main and rear façades furthest apart may not exceed 20 metres. 

c) Maximum number of totally unobstructed floors above ground: 2. 

d) Maximum total height of any façade: 9 metres. 

e) Façade alignment with a minimum distance of 5 metres from the axis of the public road bordering the end of the building. 

f) Minimum distance from the side edges: 3m, except in the case of a gable in a semi-detached building or in a continuous strip or in cases where the configuration of the plot or the type of land makes it manifestly impossible to comply, provided that the conditions of buildability, health and safety of the adjoining plots or lots are not jeopardised: 

g) Maximum soil waterproofing index: 0.7.

2 - Without prejudice to the provisions of the following paragraph, in medium-density areas the minimum permissible building capacity is that resulting from the application of the following

parameters: 

a) Gross utilisation index: 0.60; 

b) Net utilisation index: 0.80; 

c) Covered area index: 0.50.
